Meet Dr. Alison Riddle-Fletcher

Dr. Alison Riddle-Fletcher is a Houston, TX native and she was educated in the Houston school system, graduating from Lamar High School in 1977. She attended North Texas State University graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1982.

Dr. Riddle-Fletcher entered the Howard University College of Dentistry in 1983, graduating with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1987. She later obtained a Certificate in Advanced General Dentistry in 1993 from Howard. She is a third generation dentist.

Dr. Riddle-Fletcher is involved in organized dentistry and is a member of the National Dental Association, affiliating with Gulf State Dental Association and Maryland Dental Society of the NDA. She has been the Parliamentarian of the NDA House of Delegates and is the President-Elect of the National Dental Association. She will be the 90th National Dental Association President in 2014. Dr. Riddle-Fletcher is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the Links, Inc.

Dr. Riddle-Fletcher is the recipient of several community service awards through her employment with the Baltimore City Public Health Department, including a Mayor’s Citation for Service and the Conscientious Dentist Certificate.
